Fall River’s Yorgan De Castro set for next UFC bout
Fall River’s Yorgan De Castro is set to take on his next UFC challenger.
De Castro (6-1) will take on Carlos Felipe (8-1) at UFC Fight Night: Holm vs. Aldana.
In his last fight on May 9th, De Castro was in command against former NFL star Greg Hardy until De Castro suffered a leg injury that changed the course of the contest, causing De Castro to lose his first professional fight.
Felipe also lost his first fight in his last contest, losing to Sergey Spivak on July 18th.
De Castro, who fights out of Regiment Training Center in Fall River, and Felipe who fights out of Life MMA in Brazil, have almost identical tales of the tape. De Castro is 6’0″, 262 lbs with a 74″ reach while Felipe is 6’0″, 261 lbs with a 75″ reach.
The fight is scheduled to take place on October 3rd at Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
