Fall River’s Roger’s Coney Island Hot Dogs to return under new ownership

Fall River, MA – In a heartfelt tribute to the rich history and cherished traditions of our community, Cliff Ponte and Kyle Lima, owners of New York Bagel, are excited to announce their agreement to purchase the iconic Rogers Coney Island. This beloved establishment has been a staple in Fall River for generations, and the duo is committed to preserving its legacy while ensuring that the spirit of this local treasure continues to thrive.

“Rogers Coney Island is more than just a restaurant; it’s a part of what makes Fall River special. We believe in the importance of community and the stories that come with places like this,” said Cliff Ponte. “Our goal is to honor that legacy by keeping the essence of Rogers alive, while also bringing our passion for quality and service to the table. We have signed an agreement to purchase real estate and a management agreement to take over ASAP under existing licenses as we prepare to re-launch under existing license.” 

Kyle Lima echoed these sentiments, adding, “One of our top priorities is to retain all of the current employees. They are the heart and soul of Rogers, and we want to ensure that they continue to be part of this iconic establishment. Their dedication and connection to the community are invaluable, and we are thrilled to have them on board as we embark on this exciting new chapter.”

The purchase of Rogers Coney Island marks a significant step in preserving a beloved fixture of Fall River’s culinary scene. Cliff and Kyle are dedicated to maintaining the classic menu that locals know and love, while also exploring new ways to innovate and enhance the dining experience.

They will announce a re-opening date very soon.  This includes the sale of the real estate and business.
