Meet Fall River Forever Paws Ladybird!

Ladybird is a 6-year-old pittie mix who has been steadily gaining weight since she entered the shelter. Coming in at 36 lbs., they have already gotten her up to 44 lbs. after about a week of being at Forever Paws. They got her on a special diet to ensure she’s consistently gaining weight until she’s met the breed standard.

Ladybird is a shining example of the incredible perseverance dogs have and how they can adapt to situations even better than us sometimes! FP is unsure of her background and how she came to be as emaciated as she was, but she doesn’t let it bother her in the slightest. She’s sweet, sociable, and has no problem meeting strangers. A good butt rub will have her eyes lighting up and her silly button turned on! She’s not all party, though, this girl also has a side that’s all business! She knows her commands like none other, hitting sit, down, stay, and come like a professional. She’s eager to please and really just wants someone to call her own.

Per typical bully breed rules, you must own your own home, children must be over twelve, no cats, and any other dogs in the home must be the opposite sex. She’s proven to do well with other dogs so far and is respectful about their boundaries! She’ll come spayed, microchipped, with her Rabies and distemper vaccines, a heartworm test, and her heartworm preventative/flea meds for the month.

If you’re interested, fill out an application on www.ForeverPaws.com under the adopt tab before coming in. If you already have an approved application, call and set up an appointment to meet Ladybird today!
