Fall River’s Joson Sanon getting back on track after difficult injury notching 18 points against 25th ranked BYU

A basketball star from Fall River appears to be getting back on track after a difficult injury.
Arizona State (13-15, 4-13) dropped a high scoring matchup against 25th ranked BYU (20-8, 11-6), 91-81. The Sun Devils were down two starters, guard Alston Mason and forward Jayden Quaintance.
Despite being shorthanded, Fall River’s Joson Sanon stepped up to make it a competitive contest.
Sanon continues to find his form notching 18 points, grabbing 5 rebounds and handing out 4 assists.
Sanon suffered a high ankle sprain on New Years Eve and missed 5 of the 8 games that followed. Sanon has struggled since then with an injury that can be tough to come back from, but he looks to be on his way back after this performance.
The Sun Devil’s will take on Utah on the road on March 1st.
