Fall River’s Goldie is a smart, silly, and good boy looking for his forever home

Fall River Forever Paws Goldie is still looking for his forever home.

FP knew it wouldn’t be easy trying to find a home for a 100lb mastiff mix but didn’t think it would be this hard. Especially when the mastiff mix is Goldie, who is the best of all good boys.

Goldie would do well in a home with other dogs as long as they can keep up with his energy. He turns into a silly, goofy puppy when it comes to playing with other dogs and will almost immediately drop into a play bow. He hasn’t shown any aggression towards cats but, due to his size, Forever Paws would say that a home with no cats would probably be better so no one gets accidentally squished. For the same reason, they are looking for a home with children 12+.

He’s an incredibly friendly dog that turns into a wiggle butt when meeting strangers. He’s amazingly smart and picks up on training quickly, though he does have a bit of a stubborn streak. He’s got his cues down and is learning leash manners as well as doorway/threshold manners. He’s eager to please but does like to push his boundaries to see what he can get away with.

Goldie is about two years old so he’s full grown (thankfully!) He’s very gentle with his toys and hasn’t displayed any food aggression. That big head of his is filled with marshmallows.

You must own your own home or live in a home owned by a family member to be considered for Goldie.

Please note that this is not King, the missing dog from RI. King’s owner came in to verify and confirmed that Goldie is unfortunately not his dog.
