Fall River’s COVID-19 deaths pass 100, cases rise slightly, string of single digits continues
Fall River has seen more cases of COVID-19 Friday.
8 new cases have been reported in Fall River, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River stand at 1,578.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River increased to 101 as the City was informed of 2 more fatalities.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health started reporting both confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases and deaths dating back to March 1, 2020.
Massachusetts COVID-19 deaths pass 8,000, hospitalizations continue to decline
6 COVID-19 cases were reported on Saturday. Sunday saw 2 reported cases. Monday revealed 8 more cases. Tuesday saw 2 more cases. Wednesday’s cases actually decreased due to address corrections. On Thursday, 4 cases were reported.
Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.

Governor Charlie Baker signed an executive order on May 1, 2020 requiring face coverings in public places where social distancing is not possible. This order is effective May 6, 2020 and will remain in effect until rescinded or until the emergency is terminated.
