Fall River’s COVID-19 case count makes jump to 2,135

Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Wednesday’s report.

According to the mayor’s office, 2,135 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 22 case increase.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 135 today. The City was informed of an additional fatality Tuesday.

Thursday saw 5 new cases of COVID-19. Friday, 1 case was reported. 28 cases were reported over the weekend. On Tuesday, the City saw a one case decrease following the correction of a case falsely attributed to Fall River.
