Meet Fall River Forever Paws Pet(s) of the Week Butterball and Nutterbutter!

These two thicken nuggets are actively searching for their forever homes. They do NOT have to go together (although it would be kinda cute if they did). They didn’t come in together but have been alone in the same room together and have been doing wonderfully with each other.

Butterball is an 8-year-old female weighing about 18lbs. She is obviously incredibly overweight and needs some help slimming down…but oh my goodness, she is adorable. She’s a sweet older lady that likes naps, cozy beds, and being loved up on. She’s not the most active but FP is hoping that as she loses weight, she’ll be more inclined to play or climb which will help her shed the rest of the weight. She’s definitely more extroverted, having no qualms about coming up to you and rubbing up against your leg for pets. She’s also a bit of a chatterbox and likes to chirp at people whenever she sees them.

Nutterbutter is a 5-year-old male weighing about 17lbs so he’s very much in the same boat as Butterball. He’s the introvert of the pair. He’s a shy, sweet boy that likes squeezing himself into hidey-holes and places you would think he doesn’t actually fit into, but he makes it work. He’s not as attention-seeking as Butterball but definitely won’t say no to some love, you just have to be the one to approach him.

Both of these cats would most likely do well with other cats, though Forever Paws is not uncertain/hesitant about placing them with dogs. Older kids would be best.
