Fall River’s BMC Durfee High School Marching Band takes home national title after undefeated season
After winning a state title last weekend, a Fall River high school captured a national title this weekend.
The undefeated BMC Durfee High School Marching Band took home the A-Group 1 US Bands Massachusetts Championship at Stoughton High School last weekend.
On Sunday, the Hilltoppers took home the National US Bands Division I A Championship in Allentown, PA.
The competition was scored based on music proficiency, ensemble music, music effect, visual, visual effect, colorguard and percussion. Durfee scored a whopping score of 96.0 besting their impressive state title score of 92.6.
Durfee also won the caption awards for best music and best visuals.
