Fall River woman who dedicated over thirty years of her life to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth has passed away

A Fall River woman who gave decades of service to a local college has passed away.

According to an obituary, 78-year-old Christine Migneault died on Thursday.

Migneault dedicated over thirty years of her life to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth as an administrative assistant in the continuing education department.

“Her commitment to education and support for others had a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues alike. Christine’s academic journey began with her earning an associate degree in Business, which laid the foundation for her successful career. A diligent and devoted worker, she approached her responsibilities with great passion and care, earning the respect and admiration of those who had the pleasure to work alongside her.”

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main Street, Fall River, MA, followed by a funeral service in the Funeral Home at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
