A Fall River woman is looking for the public’s help after an incident that was reported on Saturday night.

A call came into dispatch just after 11:00 p.m. in the area of Walnut and Robeson Streets stating that a woman was walking with her boyfriend when a vehicle kept driving by and then a person in the vehicle threw a food container at her and then later a glass bottle at her head.

The victim, who did not want to be named, contacted Fall River Reporter with her side of the story.

“There is a psychopath driving up and down Robeson that whipped food at me, came back around and then whipped a glass bottle at my head that made contact with the side of my head. They took a left by BayCoast Bank, came back around one more time looking for me, but I had run up the street at that point to call police. There is nobody I know that would target me like that. A black Honda Civic or Toyota looking car. I’m a young woman. Cops have been notified. I was in shock and wasn’t able to grab the license plate. Who has cameras by BayCoast Bank on Robeson??? This happened between BayCoast Bank and Citizens for Citizens on Robeson Street around 11:08PM. I need help please. I don’t want to be afraid of someone hurting me while traveling in the city.”

If you have any information on this incident, contact Fall River Police at (508) 324-2787.
