Fall River woman killed in pedestrian crash
A Fall River pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a vehicle Sunday morning.
According to WHJG, the accident took place on Front Beach Road in Panama City Beach, Florida.
A 49-year-old woman from Fall River was reportedly struck by a SUV at approximately 1:10 a.m. while crossing the road near Joan Avenue.
The SUV was driven by a 42-year-old man from Panama City Beach.
The female victim was transported to Ascension Sacred Heart/Bay Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The Fall River woman’s name has not yet been released.
