Fall River woman identified as wanted shoplifter
Dartmouth Police have identified their shoplifting suspect.
According to the Dartmouth Police Department, Westport P.D. last night stopped the stolen Mercedes that the female suspect was seen entering the day she shoplifted in Dartmouth.
After arresting the male operator after a brief foot chase, Westport P.D. located the suspect’s license on his person, thus confirming her identity.
For her troubles, Sandra Sousa of Fall River will be receiving a summons to Third District Court, as well as this advice from Dartmouth Police:

Next time you use a stolen vehicle to commit a crime in Dartmouth, please remember to get your ID back from your partner in crime, as you may need it to gain entry into the next Mensa International induction ceremony.
Sousa was wanted for shoplifting clothes at Kohl’s department store according to police.
