An incident at a Fall River store Tuesday led to an arrest.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers responded to Walgreens located at 1512 South Main Street in response to a report of a fight in progress.
Upon arrival, officers were advised that a customer had entered the store to make a purchase. Upon exiting the store, the customer observed a female approximately 15 feet from her vehicle rummaging through a bag. After entering her vehicle, the customer discovered that her child’s iPad was missing from her vehicle. She then approached the female who she had observed rummaging through a bag near her vehicle. Upon doing so, she observed her purse to be one of the items in the female’s bag.
The female placed the bag down and assaulted the customer. The customer was able to retrieve her purse and her child’s iPad.
26-year-old Lyndsey Kiendra was arrested and charged with breaking and entering in the nighttime with the intent to commit a felony, unarmed robbery, possession of a class A substance, and possession of a class B substance.
