Fall River teen facing several gun charges after police seize loaded firearm

The Fall River Police Department made a recent gun arrest.

According to police, on Friday, Detective Lauren Fiola along with other members of the Community Action & Suppression Team (CAST) developed information that a fifteen-year-old juvenile was in possession of a firearm.

Detectives were able to locate the juvenile and recover a Springfield XDS 9mm handgun equipped with five rounds of ammunition.

The juvenile was placed under arrest and was charged with Carrying a Firearm without a LTC, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a LTC, and Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm.
