Fall River student to be summonsed after bringing ammunition to school
A 13-year-old student will be summoned into court for Possessing Ammunition without an F.I.D. card after the student brought a .40 caliber bullet into Talbot Middle School Tuesday.
According to Detective John Robinson, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the Talbot School Administration was made aware of a bullet being in possession of a student. School Resource Officer Branden Pacheco was informed of the bullet.
When questioned about where the bullet came from and why he had it, the student was evasive with his answers. The School Administration decided a K9 search of the school should be conducted for a possible firearm.
The school was searched with three FRPD K9s and no firearm or ammunition were located.
