Several local communities are holding holiday toy drives for those in need.

FALL RIVER DRIVE

The City of Fall River, Fall River Police, and several businesses are looking to bring cheer to children in our community this holiday season by asking for a toy or monetary donation. All toys must be new and unwrapped.

Monetary donations can be sent directly through Venmo: https://account.venmo.com/u/Citytoydriver-2025

Donation drop-off sites will be located throughout the city, but the Fall River Police Department large, decorated donation box is already set up in the lobby for anyone who would like to stop by.

TIVERTON DRIVE

The Tiverton Police Department is holding their annual Operation: Blue Santa for children and seniors.

All donated toys/gifts must be brand new, unwrapped, and donated by December 5th.

Donation boxes are being placed throughout the community.

Tiverton PD is also hosting an Adopt a Family.

If you are one of those families that have experienced severe hardship over this past year/currently, or you know of a family down on their luck, please complete an assistance registration form and email it to Lieutenant John LeDuc at jleduc@tivertonpoliceri.com.

You can request a registration form for both programs by contacting Lieutenant LeDuc at jleduc@tivertonpoliceri.com.

Please note selection is based on severity of needs. So please be specific in explaining your circumstances. *Note: if only 10 people are willing to adopt a family, only 10 families will be adopted, so be sure to fill your request for assistance form fully and accurately and get it in ASAP!

Additionally, those that have never been approved for the Adopt-A-Family Holiday Outreach will be given first consideration, as opposed to families that have already been adopted in the past, or has been adopted several times.

They will be accepting applications for consideration until November 21st, 2025.

SOMERSET DRIVE

The Somerset Police Department is now accepting sign-ups for their Annual Toy Drive.

Priority will be given to Somerset & Berkley residents

All other towns will be placed on a waiting list depending on availability.

Registration is open now through November 15 for families in need. Register by filling out this Google Form: https://forms.gle/hBjohuGu7p43wmtK6

For questions, please contact the Somerset Police Department at records@somersetpd.or
