Fall River sees spike in mental health, breaking and entering calls in June

According to the Fall River Police Department, mental health and breaking/entering calls spiked in June compared to May despite May having an extra day.

Fall River police officers responded to 170 mental health calls in June compared to 114 in May, a 33% increase.

Officers also responded to 90 breaking and entering calls in June compared to 66 in May, a 27% increase.

FRPD saw a total of 4,052 calls in June (average 135 per day) with 3,907 in May (average 126 per day).
