Fall River sees over 700 COVID-19 cases in the last week as death count increases
Fall River saw more cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
According to the Mayor’s Office, 7,008 total cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 219 case increase since Friday.
The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.
Deaths in Fall River contributed to COVID-19 increased to 207 as one new death was reported over the weekend. The City had been notified of 3 more fatalities Friday and 4 more fatalities Tuesday. There were 6 fatalities over last weekend.
58 more cases were announced on Tuesday. On Wednesday, 129 new COVID-19 cases were revealed. 90 cases were reported on Thursday. Friday saw a record 211 cases.
