Fall River sees over 1,000 reported COVID-19 cases in last 7 days, 16 deaths

Fall River saw more cases of COVID-19 on Monday.

According to the Mayor’s Office, 9,557 total cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Fall River, a 468 case increase reported since Friday.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

Deaths in Fall River contributed to COVID-19 increased to 246 as 6 new deaths were announced today. 3 deaths were reported on Friday. 7 deaths were announced on Tuesday. 5 deaths were reported last Monday.

Tuesday revealed 127 COVID-19 cases. Wednesday saw 109 more cases. A record 217 cases were announced on Thursday. 140 cases were reported on Friday.
