Fall River sees 16 reported cases of COVID-19 in last 7 days

Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Monday’s report, but case counts continue to stay low in the city.

The City received a report of 4 new cases over the weekend, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the total in Fall River increase to 1,882.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 120.

6 more cases were reported over the weekend. 3 COVID-19 cases were added Tuesday that were discovered from the previous week. Wednesday saw one case. Thursday saw 3 additional COVID-19 cases. Friday added 2 new cases.

The City continues to encourage residents to practice social distancing. This means keeping a distance of 6ft between individuals. Continue to wash your hands on a regular basis, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and stay home as much as possible, especially when you are sick, and wear a face covering when out in public. These measures will help to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
