Fall River school holding Open Studio Night and Concert planned and organized by students
Fall River students are putting on an event of their own.
Thursday evening at Atlantis Charter School there will be an Open Studio Night and Concert at the Upper School (991 Jefferson Street).
It is open to the public. People can explore six studio spaces featuring artwork, class projects and live performances from more than 60 students and staff. The open studio-style format will allow parents and community members to see the projects and talk to the student artists, designers, photographers, musicians, actors and engineers about the process they went through to complete their works of art.
Two students planned and organized the entire event. They collaborated with faculty and staff, created digital floor plans of the open studio spaces, event flyers, parent emails, and other event notifications.
The events will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. with the concert starting at 7:15 p.m.
