A restaurant has reopened after the Fall River Fire Department made quick work of a fire on Saturday.

According to scanner transmissions, at approximately 4:30 p.m. a call came in for smoke showing at Barrett’s Alehouse, 4171 North Main Street.

Upon arrival, crews quickly extinguished the flames.

Scanner transmissions stated that the fire was electrical in nature, but could not be confirmed by the Firefighter Union.

At just before 6:30 p.m., Barrett’s announced that due to mechanical issues, they would be temporarily closed while they ensure that everything is in perfect condition before reopening.

On Thursday, Barrett’s happily announced their reopening.

“Doors are open and we’ve missed you more than you know! Come grab a drink, order your favorites, and hang with us! We’re so excited to welcome everyone back.”
