A Fall River restaurant is changing locations to another community.

The Acores Family Restaurant currently located inside of the St. John’s Athletic Club at 1365 Rodman Street is moving to Swansea according to a social media post.

“We are beyond excited and Thankful with God first for allowing this new journey to be possible. It’s safe to say that we will be moving locations. We will remain in operation at 1365 Rodman Street inside of St John’s Club until Saturday Dec 28,2024. Our phone number will remain the same and we will continue to deliver to our customers with DoorDash. We look forward to sharing this new experience with all of you and can’t wait for you guys to check out our new location in Swansea. We will continue to give everyone updates on the new opening date for the new location. We would like to take this time to Thank each and every one of you for your continued business and support. Also, a big Thank you to our staff who have remained faithful to us and helped us throughout the process. We are beyond grateful. This new journey for Luis and I is going to be awesome, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you!”

Acores specializes in authentic Portuguese cuisine featuring dishes such as chicken/shrimp Mozambique, surf and turf, chourico, sandwiches, and fish and chips. Desserts, soup, salads, and a kid’s menu are also available.

The eatery, which opened in March of this year, will be relocating to 317 Ocean Grove Ave, the former Ocean Grove Portuguese Steakhouse.
