Fall River restaurant at final straw after dealing with recent thefts, vandalism, trash dumping
A Fall River institution is looking for the public’s help after recent incidents.
Faneek’s Coney Island at 269 Rhode Island Avenue took to social media to express their concerns and frustrations.
“We came in this morning to find our front yard display completely destroyed, and we’re just heartbroken.
“It’s getting harder to stay positive when, week after week, we deal with things like stolen purses, bathroom decor ripped off the walls, anything not nailed down getting swiped, and trash left EVERYWHERE. Had someone empty out their ash tray right in the middle of our parking lot even though there are trash cans readily available.
“We work so hard to take care of our community and keep our prices affordable, but these acts of disrespect are pushing us to our limit. We can’t afford to keep replacing things, and honestly, we’re at our final straw.
“We want to continue doing good things here, but we need our community’s help to protect it.”
