Fall River resident looking for help after package containing sentimental gifts was stolen from porch

A package with sentimental value was stolen off of a Fall River porch on Saturday and the initial recipient is just looking to get it back with no questions asked.

Shawn Kelly is hoping the person who stole the package finds it in their heart to return it to 37 Eaton Street.

“To whoever stole the Fedex package off of our porch today, please return it. It was a gift from my mother who lives halfway across the country and who I have not seen in over a year. There is nothing of value inside, just some headphones, clothes, bath items, and a bouquet from my friend’s wedding. You can keep everything else, but please at least return the bouquet and the letter she left inside. No questions asked. I don’t want anyone to get in trouble, I just miss my family and this is one of the few ways we are able to stay in touch.”

Shawn is looking for the story to be shared in hopes that the thief sees it and does the right thing.
