Fall River reported cases of COVID-19 reaches 2,085

Fall River saw additional cases of COVID-19 in Thursday’s report.

The City received a report of 5 new cases, according to the Mayor’s Office. This makes the COVID-19 case total in Fall River increase to 2,085.

The Fall River Health Department is in contact with the individuals who have tested positive as well as their contacts.

The death toll from the coronavirus in Fall River remains at 134 today. The City was informed of two additional fatalities yesterday.

Friday saw 9 more cases of COVID-19. 20 combined cases were reported for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Tuesday revealed 5 additional cases. 6 more cases were announced on Wednesday.

The City continues to encourage residents to practice social distancing. This means keeping a distance of 6ft between individuals. Continue to wash your hands on a regular basis, clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, and stay home as much as possible, especially when you are sick, and wear a face covering when out in public. These measures will help to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The City wants to remind residents that Government Center Reopened to the Public on June 8 by appointment only.
 Appointments from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Thursday
 Closed to the public on Fridays, Weekends, and Holidays
