Fall River repeat offender arrested on breaking and entering charge, assault and battery on officer
A Fall River repeat offender was arrested again by police just before the end of 2021.
According to Lt. Gregory Wiley, On December 28, Officer Marques Pires and Kristopher Sousa responded to 161 South Main Street for a report of a break and entering.
Upon their arrival, they located and arrested 33-year-old Joseph Costa who was found inside a Photography Studio located inside the building of 161 South Main Street.
Costa was charged with Breaking & Entering in a Building-Daytime for a Felony, Possession of Burglarious Instrument, Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, and Resisting Arrest.
This is not Joseph Costa’s first run in with the Fall River Police Department. According to Wiley, he has been criminally charged numerous times for the same criminal activity in the recent past.
