Fall River Public Schools moves up April vacation, sets new times for breakfast, lunch distribution
Due to the mandatory 3 week school closure, Fall River Public Schools is moving up April Vacation.
According to Superintendent Matthew Malone, the previously scheduled April Vacation from April 20th to April 24th has been moved up to April 1st to the 6th to correspond with the last 4 days of the current coronavarius mandatory 3 week school closure instituted by Governor Baker.
Malone stated that the decision was made in the best interest of students and employees during the COVID-19 crisis.
There has also been a time change in the breakfast and lunch distribution during the coronavirus three week break.
Breakfast and lunch are now available for pick up each day from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the following sites: Fonseca, Henry Lord, Kuss and Durfee.
Recipients are asked to use the cafeteria entrance at all locations.
Diman is also providing grab-and-go food each day from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. for all students.
