Fall River Public Schools announce counseling after death of city student
Fall River Public Schools have announced counseling will be available in the wake of the stabbing death of 17 year old William Wheeler.
Superintendent Matthew Malone, in a press release, announced that Wheeler was a student at Resiliency Preparatory Academy.
According to Malone, grief counseling will be available until 5:00 p.m. today at RPA and 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. tomorrow. Staff from the Employee Assistance Program will also bed available.
Malone asked the public to keep the RPA family in your thoughts during his difficult time.
DA Quinn has stated that they are currently looking for a person of interest in the fatal stabbing, but did not elaborate.
