Fall River Public Library offers exercise classes
You may think that a trip to the library will exercise your mind, but did you know it can also be an opportunity to exercise your body? The Friends of the Fall River Public Library sponsor a Plio-Barre Exercise Class every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. This low-impact mix of Pilates and Barre strength training exercises is a fun way to build core body strength and improve balance and flexibility. People of all ages and fitness levels are invited to drop in.
Registration is not required, and you don’t need to commit to a certain number of classes. No special equipment needed—bring a yoga mat if you have one, or use one of ours. A $5 donation to the Friends of the Fall River Public Library is requested for each class. Classes are held in the meeting room, near the Elm Street entrance, and street parking is free after 5 p.m.
For further information contact Liane Verville, Library Administrator, at 508-324-2700, ext. 112, or visit the Library’s website at fallriverlibrary.org.
