Fall River Public Library offering free books as part of spirit of giving
In celebrating the spirit of giving during this Thanksgiving season, the Fall River Public Library is offering free children’s books to share with your family beginning Monday, November 16, while supplies last. Parents may choose to pick up a book by either curbside pick-up or visiting the library by calling the Fall River Public Library for an appointment at 508-324-2700, ext. 4.
These books are gifts and do not need to be returned. Children may choose one from a selection of six different books, recommended for grades K through 5. Titles included in the selection are: Pete the Cat and the First Thanksgiving, The Night Before Thanksgiving, This is the Turkey, The Berenstain Bears Give Thanks, and The Magic Treehouse: Thanksgiving on Thursday. Find time to give thanks and celebrate the joy of reading and sharing stories with your family this holiday season!
This book giveaway is made possible through the generosity of library patrons, Richard and Debby Danner, who have also sponsored the summer and fall Curbside Crafts series.
For further information, contact David Mello, Children’s Services Supervisor, at 508-324- 2700, ext. 4. To stay up to date with library events, follow us on Facebook or visit fallriverlibrary.org
