Fall River Public Library Events – Monday, September 2 to Saturday, September 7

Here’s what’s happening at the Fall River Public Library for the first week of September–and a reminder that after being closed on Saturdays for the summer, the library is celebrating it’s return to Saturday hours with a free performance by the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, September 7 at 11 a.m. The concert will take place on the front lawn of the library, or in the meeting room in case of rain.

Monday, Sept. 2
Labor Day; Library Closed

Tuesday, Sept. 3
Preschool Storytime, Main Library, 10:30 a.m. For kids.
Tech Help Tuesdays, Main Library. Computer help. 2-8 p.m. by appointment.
Teen Game Night, Main Library, 6 p.m. For teens.

Wed., Sept. 4
Census Job Fair, Main Library, 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Needlecraft Club, Main Library, 12 noon. For adults.
Movie Matinee, Main Library, 1 p.m. Featuring Brightburn.

Thurs., Sept. 5
Pinterest Club, 6 p.m., Main Library. Featured craft: 3D puffy paint.

Saturday, Sept. 7
New Bedford Symphony Orchestra, Main Library, 11 a.m. – 12 noon. New Bedford Symphony Orchestra appears courtesy of Music in the City. Music in the City is funded by the Creative Commonwealth Initiative of the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts.
