Fall River poutine food truck will soon be reopening for the season but not in the Scholarship City
A local business owner previously located in Fall River is moving her food truck to a new location.
Shelley Ring, who co-launched Poutine Peddlers at 239 Broadway in Taunton, opened up her own food truck about two years ago at 486 Bedford Street in Fall River called KRAVE Poutinerie.
KRAVE specializes in loaded poutine, the classic Canadian comfort food of crispy French fries, fresh white cheddar cheese curds, and rich house-made brown gravy, with plenty of creative twists. Standout signature items include Krave’s Original (the classic version with fries, curds, and gravy), Mac Daddy (a Big Mac-inspired poutine with ground beef, cheese sauce, lettuce, onions, pickles, and special sauce), Hot Hen (crispy buffalo chicken, ranch dressing, and gravy), Golden Feva (crispy chicken smothered in tangy “Gold Fever” sauce), and Big Pig (pulled pork, BBQ sauce, coleslaw, and scallions).
KRAVE will be reopening for the season at Bask Cannabis Dispensary located at 2 Pequod Rd (Alden Rd) in Fairhaven.
Fall River Reporter asked Ring what prompted the move.
“We just weren’t getting enough steady business in Fall River to keep it sustainable, so we’re making the move to Fairhaven to rebuild in a stronger location. We’re excited for this next step.”
KRAVE expects to open in their new spot sometime in June.
