Fall River Portuguese Restaurant, apartments, put on the market in package deal
A Fall River restaurant was placed on the market recently.
O Gil’s Portuguese Restaurant at 915 County Street was established in 1991 and named after Gil Fagundo the founder of O Gil’s and creator of their famous Portuguese Steak, a recipe widely used today brought from Ponta Delgada, Azores.
Gil’s Portuguese/Azorean soul food has lived on through his family at O Gil’s Restaurant & Bar and will now change hands.
According to Michael Ferreira of Anchor Realty, ownership is retiring which prompted the listing.
The eatery has a full liquor license plus seating for up to 200.
In addition to the well-established business, two large residential apts. are also part of the sale. The parking lot is available for purchase.
The 6,072 square feet have an asking price of $999,000.
