Fall River Police tase, arrest, city man after morning stabbing over marijuana
A Fall River man was tased and arrested this morning after a stabbing.
According to Captain Jay Huard, at just after 8:30 a.m., Officers were dispatched to 89 O’Grady Street for a report of a domestic argument.
It was learned that 25-year-old Rama Burch had allegedly stabbed a female victim with a screw driver.
Huard stated that when Officers attempted to arrest Burch, he became violent, attacked an officer and attempted to take his firearm.
Burch was tased and eventually cuffed.
Burch was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital.
The female victim received a superficial wound to her arm, and refused medical treatment.
The victim stated that Burch was just a friend and that he accused her of stealing marijuana, then stabbed her in the arm, according to Huard.
