The Fall River Police Department made an arrest on drug and gun charges over the weekend.
According to police, on Sunday, officers from the Patrol Bureau responded to a report of an unwanted party at a residence on Flynn Street.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that 44-year-old Paul Langley was in possession of multiple illegal firearms and a quantity of cocaine. Patrol officers on scene quickly gathered critical information from the complainant, which was vital in establishing probable cause and securing a search warrant for the residence.
Members of the C.A.S.T. Unit responded to the scene and obtained a search warrant for the residence. As a result of the search, officers recovered the following items:
• A Ruger .357 Magnum revolver
• A Jennings .22 caliber handgun
• Approximately 28.9 grams of cocaine
• $3,100 in cash
• Various calibers of ammunition
Paul Langley was placed under arrest and transported to the Fall River Police Department, where he was charged with the following offenses:
• Possess Firearm Without FID Card (2 counts)
• Possess Ammunition Without FID Card
• Cocaine (Trafficking in 18 Grams or More, Less Than 36 Grams)
• Possess Firearm in Felony (2 counts)
• Possess Large Capacity Feeding Device
• Improper Storing of a Firearm
