Fall River Police respond to shooting after bullet hole reportedly found in wall of home

Fall River Police responded to a shooting Friday morning where reportedly multiple shots were fired.

At just after 5:30 a.m., multiple calls came in to dispatch for possible several shots fired in the area of Eastern Avenue. One of which hit the wall of a home.

According to scanner transmissions, police confirmed that a bullet hole was indeed in a wall on the second floor of a home on the 200 block of Eastern Avenue.

At least 5 evidence markers could be seen in the roadway outside of a home on Eastern Avenue.

No word on what led to the shooting or if a suspect is in custody.
