Fall River Police respond to report of shots fired, allegations of former home employee supplying drugs to juveniles
Officers in Fall River responded to a shots fired report and group home allegations on Thursday afternoon.
Fall River Police responded to the 1800 block of Stafford Road at approximately 4:00 p.m. in response to reports of possible gunfire.
Upon arrival, the complainant indicated that they heard what they believed to be multiple gunshots in the area. Scanner transmissions also stated that an officer heard the same noise.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, officers searched the area, but were unable to confirm that a shooting occurred.
FRPD also responded to the Old Colony YMCA regarding allegations that a former employee had been supplying juveniles with controlled substances. Sergeant Moses Pereira stated that the matter remains under investigation at this time and there have been no criminal charges filed.
