The Fall River Police Department responded Saturday evening to reports of possible shots fired.

According to scanner transmissions, at just before 9:30 p.m., a call from the 300 block of Ridge Street came into dispatch for what the caller believed might be 5 back-to-back shots.

A second caller in the 200 block of Peckham Street heard what they believed might be 6 shots.
