Fall River Police respond to early morning report of man stabbed

Fall River Police responded to a reported stabbing on Wednesday morning.

At just before 3:15 a.m., a call came into dispatch from hospital staff that a male walked into Charlton Memorial Hospital and stated he was stabbed in his back and was waiting in the trauma room with nurses.

Fall River Reporter contacted Fall River Police for an update on the incident and have not yet heard back.

The condition of the man was not available.
