Fall River Police respond to calls overnight concerning naked running man

The Fall River Police Department responded to an incident that you don’t hear about every day.

According to scanner transmissions, a call came in just before midnight for an evaluation of a man who was running naked holding a tree branch in one hand in the area of Warren and Baker Streets towards Walmart.

An officer stated on the transmissions that he had been dealing with the man all night.

No word yet on if police were able to capture the man.

There was a report earlier in the night of a man wearing just a shirt at the Laundromax on Stafford Road who the business wanted removed, but it is unclear if they are related.
