Charges are pending after a large seizure of drugs and guns in the City of Fall River.

According to police, in December, FRPD C.A.S.T. Detectives, along with members of the DEA New Bedford Resident Office, executed a search warrant at 400 Stafford Road in Fall River.

The search warrant targeted a car detailing business at the location which was owned and operated by 34-year-old Ryan Holleran. Holleran was suspected of being a large-scale cocaine supplier.

As a result of the search, investigators located approximately 10 kilograms of cocaine concealed inside a safe within the business. In addition, 5 illegal large-capacity firearms were seized, along with various calibers of ammunition and multiple magazines, including extended magazines.

The investigation into this matter remains ongoing and criminal charges are pending lab testing.

FRPD issued the following statement:

“Significant seizures such as this are only possible due to the tenacious drive of detectives who diligently work cases, follow leads up the chain, and collaborate closely with partner agencies. Over the past year, sustained efforts have been made to rebuild and strengthen relationships with federal, state and local partners, providing increased resources and enhanced capabilities. These partnerships allow the FRPD to better serve the community and ensure that those engaged in serious criminal activity are brought before the courts.”
