Fall River Police: Man in serious condition after Fall River stabbing
Fall River Police are investigating after a man was injured in a stabbing on Sunday.
According to Captain Barden Castro, at approximately 7:57 p.m., Uniform Division Officers responded to the 1100 block of Plymouth Ave in regard to a stabbing which had just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who was suffering from a stab wound to his torso.
Paramedics with the Fall River Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the male victim to Rhode Island Hospital.
UPDATE:Fall River Police arrest suspect in Plymouth Avenue stabbing
The victim was last known to be in serious condition.
The road in the area was blocked off until approximately 10:15 p.m.
Major Crimes Division Detectives are on scene of this active investigation.
