Fall River Police make gun arrest after moped rider leaves scene of accident
A Fall River teen is facing several charges after reportedly leaving the scene of an accident and running from the police on Monday.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Officer Zachary Vorce responded to the area of Globe Street and Vale Street for a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a moped. Upon arrival, Officer Vorce was advised that the operator of the moped had fled the area in a motor vehicle abandoning the moped at the scene.
Through his investigation, Officer Vorce located and identified the juvenile operator of the moped, a 14-year-old male. As officers waited for the juvenile’s parent/guardian to arrive, he attempted to flee on foot. During a brief foot pursuit, he discarded a backpack which he previously had in his possession.
Upon locating the backpack, officers discovered a small quantity of marijuana. A secondary search of the area was conducted by Officer Zachary Dupere and his K-9 partner Lucky which led to the discovery of an HK P30SK 9MM pistol.
The moped, which was unregistered, was towed from the scene.
The juvenile is facing multiple motor vehicle and firearms related charges stemming from the incident.

How can this young Hood Rat have a possess a loaded HK P930sk 9MM pistol ??
Very strict Massachusetts gun laws prevent such a thing … but this happens all the time .. Criminal Hood Rats walking around with concealed, loaded assault weapons (semi auto pistols)
You would think that the very strict Massachusetts gun laws are not very effective in keeping assault weapon pistols out of the possession of criminal Hood Rats.
