Fall River police looking for public’s help locating a missing 67-year-old man

FALL RIVER — Fall River police are asking for the public’s help locating a 67-year-old man who was reported missing Tuesday evening.

Timothy Mendes was last seen around 5:10 p.m. at 273 Oak Grove Avenue, the location of the Carvalho Grove nursing home. He was reported missing a short time later.

Mendes was wearing black shorts, a gray shirt with a chest pocket, black sneakers, and white ankle socks when he was last seen. He has a tattoo on his left forearm and is known to suffer from cognitive impairment.

Anyone who has information about Mendes’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Fall River Police Department immediately.
