Fall River Police looking for public’s help after two-vehicle crash sends two to the hospital
Two people were sent to the hospital after a serious crash in Fall River this morning.
According to Captain Barden Castro, just after midnight, police and fire responded to the area of Plymouth Avenue and Peckham Street for a reported motor vehicle crash. The crash involved two vehicles with only one occupant in each car.
Both operators were transported to the hospital with one going to Rhode Island Hospital and the other to Charlton Memorial Hospital. The drivers were able to speak with officers at the crash site and their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
Ofc. Brandon Antone is investigating the crash and a check of the area for surveillance footage which may have captured the crash is being conducted. Anyone who may have captured the collision on a home or business security camera, or witnessed the event, is asked to contact Ofc. Antone of the Uniform Division (508) 324-2802.
The investigation is still ongoing.
