Fall River Police are looking for a suspect concerning a stolen vehicle and a pedestrian being hit.

At approximately 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, a call came in to dispatch concerning a fight at Kennedy Park. A Black Tahoe with dealer plates was reported to be driving through the park and ran over the man the driver was fighting with.

According to Lieutenant Jay Huard, the vehicle in question was stolen from Joe’s Gas at 2608 South Main Street.

The search was on for the vehicle and the reported driver, 40-year-old Chad Langlois.

The vehicle was recovered by police after crashing on Route 24 North, near exit 8. Langlois, however, was not with the vehicle and had fled the scene.

Huard stated that amazingly enough, the victim who had been run over, did not sustain serious injuries and was treated at St. Anne’s Hospital.

A warrant was requested for Langlois for an assortment of charges and as of this writing, he had not been located.

Hes locked up in the Camden County Ga jail because he stole several more vehicles and robbing my parents at gunpoint in a home invasion in mid July. This man will not be free for a very long time. He has 7 pending felony charges just in Ga.
