Fall River Police looking for Monday attempted robbery suspect
The Fall River Police are looking for the public’s help in capturing an attempted robbery suspect.
According to FRPD, on January 28th at approximately 2:00 p.m., Officers of the Fall River Police Departments Uniform Division responded to Fall River Municipal Credit Union 1110 Robeson Street in response to an attempted robbery.
On arrival, Officers were told that a white female approximately 5’5” in height, medium build, wearing a black fleece. black knit hat, black glasses, and white sneakers entered the bank and approached the teller. Upon reaching the teller, the female said ‘give me a minute’ and walked over to the check writing counter where she wrote a note on a piece of paper. The female ripped the note into several pieces, dropped it in the trash, and walked out of the bank.
Due to the female’s behavior, bank employees retrieved the note which read ‘give me the money’. Police were then notified.
