Fall River Police locate evidence after report of evening shots fired incident

Fall River Police responded to a shots fired incident on Wednesday evening.

According to scanner transmissions, a call came into dispatch just after 8:00 p.m. for a shooting in the area of Third, 4th, and Morgan Streets.

Police arrived on scene and during the course of the investigation located at least one shell casing in the roadway.

A witness told Fall River Reporter that they believed 4-5 shots were fired and cruisers were seen in the area of Corky Row and Griffin Park.

It is currently unclear if a suspect or suspects have been identified or charged.
